Love Struck is a bra I thought I’d love. It’s summery, black, plunging and padded. All of those are things that I normally like. Unfortunately, in person I hate the embroidery at the top and the wires are much too wide for my petite frame. What looks classy and fun on the stock model looks sort of cheap in real life. The embroidery also shows up under EVERYTHING. The black is satiny and shiny as in the pictures and the straps are just as wide set as they look.
So on to the fit. This bra has wide cups, wide set straps, it’s just WIDE. This doesn’t suit my shape and while it isn’t terrible, it isn’t great either. The gore is narrow and low which suits my bony sternum. The cups on this aren’t quite shallow, but they’re not overly deep either. They’re about 5.5 inches wide and 7.7 inches deep. There is a slight east-west look going on. LoveStruck’s cups allow for more projection than any of the Curvy Kate Showgirls or a Freya Deco, but they still don’t have enough projection to suit my shape. If you get a good fit from the Curvy Kate Roxie, this bra might work for you. The wires slowly leave my IMF and descend towards the promise land. The cups go fairly high and this bra may provide too much coverage to wear with some necklines. The band on this is quite firm, mine only stretches to 27 inches. You may wish to size up if you’re truly a 28 band.
Overall, Love Stuck isn’t a terrible fit, but I’m not lovestruck. I don’t even really like it that much. This bra would work for a sub-28 band who is average/shallow with even fullness.
