Hey everyone! Today I’m going to be previewing Tutti Rouge, the relatively new, effervescent British full-bust brand. Tutti Rouge has a flirty, youthful aesthetic and uses signature heart shaped sliders on their bra straps. They’ve been incredibly responsive to fit critique about their original styles, and I’m so excited for this season. It’s simultaneously fun and functional, and I can’t wait to try out the new styles!
I adore yellow for spring, and the Chloe is dangerously cute. It’s a single seamed foam cup with an upper stretch lace section. The foam is incredibly soft, and I adore the longline-esque look of the style. The high waisted briefs are ruched in the back, to give a little extra booty emphasis. Chloe also comes with a matching lace tanga with the same size range.
So here we have the beautiful Amelia in a lovely coral eyelash lace mixed with a coral polka-dotted mesh. Amelia is a single seamed, cut and sew half cup. Single seamed half cups in general are best for shallower busts, but they can give great Cakes on a Plate cleavage (if not perfect fit) to more projected busts. I adore the lace detailing on the straps of the bra, because there are so few full-bust bras with special backs. So often we’re forced to just accept industrial straps/backs as a consequence of having large breasts! Amelia would be perfect poking out under a summer tank top.
Pixie sports the Tutti Rouge signature print of the season. I love how unabashedly feminine this set is, and I adore the corset inspired gore. Tutti Rouge’s unlined bras tend to have a projected shape. Their Jessica (review to come) is one of my new favorites! Pixie comes with a matching lace-back brief and an adorable short with lace-up detail. Both are available in XS-XXL.
Up next is Nichole, a classic Tutti Rouge style available this season in a coral cheetah print (in addition to black and light beige). The Nichole is best for larger breasts, as it is incredibly projected and quite closed off. I tried it recently and couldn’t find a size in which it was a good fit. The band and cups run quite large, so be prepared to size down in both. Cheetah print isn’t quite my style, but I think it works for the Tutti Rouge brand. It’s quite energetic and youthful,, and I like the contrast of the darker cheetah bow. The cheetah Nichole will have a J-hook, which is a lovely (and rarely seen) detail on an unlined bra. Nichole has a matching brazilian and short panty, both of which are semi sheer (XS-XXL)
Up next we have the delicious Sukki, a light beige style with detachable strappy detailing. The cups are made of thin, cut and sew foam and have three seams. They’re quite open on top, so if you’re sized out of the collection, this might be a good one to squeeze into. I love that Tutti Rouge is bringing strappy bras this season (we all know I’m an addict of all things strappy) and I think the light beige adds a touch of practicality to what could otherwise be an occasion bra. With the cleavage straps being completely removable, Sukki can double as a T-shirt bra when you need one. The Sukki coordinates are a high waisted brief with a keyhole back and a Brazilian panty, both with folded leg holes to prevent VPL (XS-XXL). If you’re not really a beige fan, never fear, this style will be available soon (for AW16) in black over beige.
Finally we have the Lexi, an unpadded half cup in a light beige. This sort of style shines in hot as hell weather, and I can see this being a great addition to my summer wardrobes. Unlined half cups aren’t all that common among full busted brands, particularly with the size range of this one. So, I’m excited to see how it fits. Lexi matches Sukki’s coordinates exactly, so it’s nice to be able to mix and match between the two ranges.
As for continuity styles (AKA: the ones I have no pictures of), Tutti Rouge is bringing back the Jessica in its original black lace color way (28-38 D-HH). The Jessica has a matching suspender belt, brazilian brief, and thong (XS-XXL). Jessica is best for projected breasts, and it’s insanely comfortable. I’m a big, big fan. Finally, Tutti Rouge will be bringing back the Liliana in cream, black, and raspberry (28-38 D-HH, 40-44 D-F). For those of you who tried Liliana in its earliest seasons, be aware that the fit has been updated as a result of customer feedback. The cups will now be less shallow and the band less tight (though Tutti Rouge still suggests that the Liliana is best for shallow breasts). Liliana’s coordinates are a lace short with ribbon detailing around the legs and a lace Brazilian (XS-XXL).
Overall, I think this is a strong season for Tutti Rouge. They’ve expanded into some new shapes, and I’m excited to see how they fit! I love the Pixie, Amelia, and Chloe styles. What are your favorites?
